On to Plan B . . .

Hmmm, maybe I should have put a bow tie on him . . .

Yogi was rejected from Camp Bow Wow. It's a sad day in the Schmidt household. Apparently Daisy was an angel and got along well with everyone. Yogi got along with the other dogs but growled, snapped, and lunged at the people. They seem to think that's an issue. Whatever.

I drove home devastated, I felt like this was the best option for my furbabies and it didn't work. I, of course, called my entire family and I think I guilted my mom into saying she would stay at our house. Umm, thanks mom - but that means I'd have to clean, well. I'd have to clean the second floor! Yep, thanks, but no thanks.

So I called some friends and found out where they had taken their dog, got on the website and gave them a call. It's PetSuites in Sharonville. I booked the last remaining Penthouse for the dogs to share. It features two toddler beds, a tv tuned to animal planet, and a ceiling fan. They get two potty breaks a day and one special play session. We'll probably pay for one more potty break given Daisy's tendencies to not see the difference between the inside and outside.

I'll go out Monday and check the place out, but I liked the look of the website. There was a wonderful video clip from a CBS news feature about them. And the girl on the phone was really nice. I told her that Yogi had some people issues and was hesitant around new people. She said that was no problem and completely understood. That made me feel better, so thank you Lyndsey.

Disaster averted, the furbabies have a place to stay and (so far) I feel like they will be well taken care of. At the very least it will be like home, they'll lay around all day in bed and watch tv.
